Beaconfire Selected to Upgrade Web Site for Population Action International
Arlington, Va., September 8, 2005 — Beaconfire Consulting has been chosen by Population Action International (PAI), a policy advocacy group, to spearhead efforts to improve the design and functionality of its Web site. Beaconfire will advise the group on a site redesign, selection and implementation of a Content Management System (CMS), and online integration of PAI’s knowledge management system.
Beaconfire will work with PAI to improve its site architecture, design, and overall usability to better appeal to PAI’s key audiences, including policy-makers, donors, funders and foundations, advocacy groups, researchers, and the media. The new CMS will introduce greater efficiencies in the creation, editing, and publishing of content.
An audience survey conducted this summer will lay the foundation for these enhancements. Beaconfire will partner with polling firm Hamilton Beattie & Staff on the survey, which will be conducted in English, French, and Spanish to gather input from a diverse group of stakeholders.
