Beaconfire Partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters to Boost Fundraising and Marketing Activities
Falls Church, Va., May 20, 2004 —
Beaconfire Consulting has been selected to lead interactive fundraising and marketing efforts on behalf of the nation's largest youth mentoring organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. This partnership was formed to assist Big Brothers Big Sisters in preparing for its 100th anniversary celebration in June 2004.
Beaconfire will work with Big Brothers Big Sisters to develop fundraising messages and interactive approaches designed to increase contributions and volunteer inquiries for the organization. Beaconfire will collaborate with the organization's staff and its advertising and technology partners to implement the approaches.
Beaconfire will lead the efforts to:
- Improve the conversion of visitors to engaged constituents on Big Brothers Big Sisters' homepage;
- Develop fundraising messages and campaign/banner approaches that Big Brothers Big Sisters can use to leverage its relationship with the Yahoo! Internet service;
- Create a compelling interactive program that will complement an Ad Council campaign for re-engaging former Big Brothers and Big Sisters;
- Work collaboratively with the organization's existing marketing partners;
- Develop an ongoing communications and cultivation strategy for volunteers, donors, and online subscribers.
New site features and interactive marketing messages will launch in June 2004 in time for Big Brothers Big Sisters Centennial Celebration. The national reunion celebration begins in New York City and will wrap up next year in Washington, D.C.
