A few tidbits that have been floating around the Beaconfire office in the past couple weeks:
The Google +1 Button and SEO
On its Webmaster Central Blog, Google shares that we’ll now start to see the new “+1″ button appear on a variety of sites, no longer limited to Google search result listings. They also provide a widget to plug directly into your own site.
What especially caught our eye was this statement and its implications for SEO:
By giving your visitors more chances to +1 your pages, your search results and search ads could show up with +1 annotations more often, helping users see when your pages are most likely to be useful.
