Google has finally revealed their long-anticipated payment processing system, called "Google Checkout."  TechRepublic has posted screenshots. Google has also released a video tour. Lookout PayPal/eBay!

I wonder what this portends for nonprofits who sell merchandise online? Perhaps this might grow into a low-cost commerce option like Yahoo Stores and ProStores? (ProStores, formerly "StoreSense" is now owned by eBay). And can this be used for donation processing? Further investigation is definitely in order.
