As a side benefit of my continuing personal quest to improve my mass transit experience, I offer you this cool mashup of Google Maps and the Metro rail system in Washington DC.

My honorable “Wire” co-blogger Usha Venktatchallam pointed out that Google Maps also shows Metro stations on its maps.
For instance, I went to local.google.com and typed in “metro stations near 2300 clarendon, blvd., arlington, va” and it showed me the Court House station beneath our building. Neat!
