Contractor: Programmer/Developer
The programmer/developer provides hands on programming skills in the creation and interactive Web applications using common development languages. The contractor must be experienced with software development methodologies, best practices in software development.Skills:
The contractor must have significant experience and skills in the following:
- Demonstrated expertise in at least 2 of the following languages:
- ASP.NET, PHP, Cold Fusion, PERL, Python
- Expertise with Oracle 9i+, SQL Server 7+, and MySQL
- Experience with installing and configuring Web servers including Apache, IIS and IPlanet.
- Experience developing in Windows, Linux, and Sun Solaris server environments
- Experience with the following is preferred:
- Cascading Style Sheets
- DHTML
- JavaScript
- Dreamweaver templates
- Experience with object oriented development and Java is preferred but not required
Experience with the following Content Management Systems and nonprofit tools is preferred:
- CrownPeak's Advantage CMS
- RedDot CMS
- PaperThin's CommonSpot CMS
- HotBanana's CMS
- Microsoft CMS
- TYPO3
- SiteCore CMS
- Plone or Zope
- Kintera Sphere
- Convio Constituent 360°
- GetActive Suite
