Living Beyond Breast Cancer

Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) is a national education and support organization dedicated to helping people through every stage of breast cancer. As an ongoing partner, Living Beyond Breast Cancer entrusted Beaconfire to redesign the LBBC website and breathe new life into their mission of empowering all women affected by breast cancer. Core requirements of the redesign were improving usability of the website and increasing interactive participation online.

Additional goals of the project included:

• Transitioning to a new eZ Publish content management system
• The ability to browse by audience type (e.g. Newly Diagnosed)
• Having imports for the LBBC Blog and a Reuters News Feed
• Embedding videos for several classes
• Improving navigation and a homepage Flash element

Users are raving about the website - “It looks great. Very professional, inviting, contemporary and easy to navigate.”
