Developing an Award-Winning Financial Literacy Site
Ad Council and AICPA asked us to overhaul the information architecture, visual design, and technical platform for the centerpiece of their 360 Degrees of Financial Literacy campaign. The new site categorizes and presents the rich content by life stage, topic, and “What’s New.” The clean, commercial creative design breathed new life into the brand and made it easy for visitors to visually identify what life stage fits them best. This site was honored with A Web Award for Outstanding Non Profit website, two W3 Awards for Best Homepage and Structure & Navigation, and was an Official Webby Honoree in the Financial Services category.
A customized experience, by design
Leveraging the robust, native features of eZ Publish CMS, we were able to get from start to launch in seven months a site with more than 5,000 content items, data feeds from multiple sources, and a personalized login service for saving favorite content that fits users' specific interests. Visitors can now easily find tips, tools, articles, and mainstream financial news by the life stage and topic that fits their need. The site automatically pulls in a suite of Java-based tools from a third party vendor and allows administrators to manage them within eZ Publish. Making it easy for consumers to manage their money? Now that’s a return on investment.
